By the Numbers

Small home, big commitment

We intentionally keep our home small so every resident receives the attention, consistency, and personal connection that larger facilities simply cannot provide.

Our Mission

More than a facility — a real home

Lilly's Loving Care LLC was founded on a simple belief: every adult deserves to live with dignity, comfort, and belonging — regardless of their disability, age, or mental health history. Our 3-bed home on Detroit's west side is intentionally small so that every resident is known by name, not a case number.

We serve adults with developmental disabilities, elderly and senior residents, and adults with mental health needs. Our care team works closely with each resident's physicians, behavioral health professionals, and family members to build individualized care plans that evolve as needs change.

Located in a quiet neighborhood off the Southfield Freeway, our home offers a calm, stable environment where residents can build routines, form friendships, and participate in community life — on their own terms.

We don't just provide care — we provide a home where people feel safe, valued, and part of something.

Person-centered

Every care plan is built around the individual — their preferences, routines, goals, and relationships.

Family partnership

We keep families informed and involved at every step, because care works best as a team.

Consistent presence

Our staff are on-site 24 hours a day. Residents are never without a caregiver they know and trust.

Who We Serve

Three populations, one home

Our home is licensed to serve adults across three care populations. Each resident receives an individualized plan — not a one-size-fits-all program.

Developmental Disabilities

We support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in building independence, participating in community life, and living with dignity in a stable, homelike environment.

  • Individualized daily living support
  • Community integration and outings
  • Behavioral support plans
  • Coordination with DHS and waiver programs

Seniors & Elderly Adults

For older adults who need more support than independent living provides but prefer a homelike setting over a nursing facility, we offer attentive personal care in a warm, familiar environment.

  • Personal care and ADL assistance
  • Medication management
  • Medical appointment transportation
  • Social engagement and companionship

Mental Health Needs

Adults with mental health diagnoses benefit from the consistency, structure, and calm of our small home. We work with behavioral health professionals to support stability and wellbeing.

  • Trauma-informed care approach
  • Collaboration with mental health providers
  • Structured routines and stability
  • Crisis prevention and de-escalation
